The TriLewis Club

Welcome to our club web site! We are a USA Triathlon club of "inspired athletes" who treat fitness as a lifestyle and enjoy the synergy of group training to reach our widely varying goals. With a combination of specific event training, fun runs and special club events, we swim, bike, run, paddle and sometimes trek our way into good health and healthy competition.

See you out there,

Coach Lewis Bennett | Last Saturday at 12:00 AM

THIS WEEK: Louisville has been a great journey. All of the athletes put in a lot of effort and have made a lot of sacrifices to get here - from the coldest winter days in January to the hottest days in August. We are very proud of these athletes and very appreciative of their families and friends who have also sacrificed a lot to support them. We will post the times when we return.

The team will be returning on Tuesday (8/31) at 1430 hours. The bike return will be later on at the Y parking lot from 1800 hours to 2000 hours.

There are a few TriLewis items still available from the back of the short bus. We will be placing another order soon.

Next weekend is a holiday so our schedule has been altered. Be sure to check the schedule before you go out.

The Schedule:

MONDAY PM - Our swim at Madeira Beach will start at 1730 hours. – sans LIM

TUESDAY AM – No AM ride

TUESDAY PM –. The bike return will be in the Y parking lot at 1800 hours.

WEDNESDAY AM - The weekly track session starts at 0530 hours as normal at the Osceola Middle School track.

THURSDAY AM – The bike repeats on the Sand Key Bridge start at 0515 hours. Park at the Panera’s on West Bay just before the bridge. It is about 4.5 miles to the base of the Sand Key so you really need a front light and a tail light for this one. Helmets are always required.

THURSDAY PM - No bricks tonight

FRIDAY AM - This is tempo run Friday. The run starts at 0530 hours from the Bardmoor Y parking lot.

SATURDAY AM – We are doing a local ride starting from MM 20.5 on Gulf Boulevard at 0530 hours and riding two 3 bridge loops followed by a 4 mile run

SUNDAY AM - Run distance (12 miles) from the Panera’s on West Bay starting at 0530 hours.

MONDAY AM Next – A 0700 hours swim from Gulf Boulevard, MM 20.5 for a mile then have coffee at Coach’s home.

PS There will not be an email this week
